Elite Construction + Development Promotes Curtis “CJ” Black to Project Executive, Operations

JULY 14, 2022 – PASCO, WASHINGTON

Curtis “CJ” Black has accepted a new role as Project Executive within our Operations Department. Reporting to Aryn Kerr, Director of Operations, CJ will provide leadership, oversight, and direction to our Private Division. As the Project Executive, he will lead the project management team and all private division developments within our portfolio.

Mr. Black joined Elite earlier this year and excelled in his previous role as Director, Project Controls, responsible for comprehensive oversite of Elite’s projects on scope, schedule, and cost.

CJ brings 14+ years of Project Management and Strategic Business Integration including construction management, strategic planning, risk management, project controls, scheduling, and estimating in roles such as Estimator, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Project Controls. Throughout his career he has worked in a variety of industries including the Department of Energy (DOE), Commercial, Civil, Nuclear, Chemical, and IT projects which line up nicely with Elite’s current slate of clients and projects.

As Project Executive, he will focus on three key areas – exceeding client expectations, managing projects to meet business objectives, and leading and developing project teams.
